What should be my next career?

joezen777 asked:

I currently do computer support and have 8+ years experience with that.
My main asset is my ability to understand and learn things and come up with creative solutions. In the past I’ve done poetry, music, art, psychology, and programming. But I want a new career that uses more of my empathic abilities. These are some of my thoughts, (im 28), but any other suggestions?

development of career path?

greg G asked:

i met this japanese-american, victor, last night at a party. he calls himself an expeditor in doing business with Pacific Rim countries, particularly Japan. Right now he is selling fish from Western Samoa and Jamaica into Japan. He seems to be in the fish business, but he says he will deal in anything that make sense. Then he asked me to look him up at work, that he might have a deal for me to develop. and i have this other friend who said that i should try to get a job with Bank of America in one of thier Far East branches, that it would be a good place to learn about doing business there. What do you think i should do?? Should i go about evaluating Victor, the japanese_american guy?should i talk more about with Victor before investigating him? or would a bank job in the Far East be a good first job for me??
